The work of the Teaching Support Center is simplified and supported by numerous tools and software items. A brief introduction to some of these tools is given below.

Description:

Moodle, opens an external URL in a new window is a free, object-oriented course management system and learning platform. The software makes it possible to support collaborative methods of teaching and learning. Our central services TUWEL, opens an external URL in a new window and CECnet, opens an external URL in a new window are based on the Moodle open source software.

The Teaching Support Center also provides its own Moodle instance for the aptitude assessment procedure.

Description:

Redmine, opens an external URL in a new window is free, web-based project management software. It can be used for user and project management, discussion forums, wikis, ticket management, or document storage. The software is written in Ruby and uses the Ruby on Rails framework.

Redmine is open source and published under GNU General Public License v2, opens an external URL in a new window (GPL).

Slack can be used to exchange messages and chat one-on-one, or in a group.
